Sample Chapter - Introduction and Training Tip #1
Yes, it’s 100% true! You can get a six pack without ever training abs. In fact, sit ups and crunches and all those kind of exercises will never get you a six pack. Despite this, 90% of people trying to achieve a six pack are still all doing these exercises...without any results. How many people have you ever seen get a six pack, you know, the people who tell you “oh I’m doing 1000 sit ups and 500 crunches every single day”? I bet you don’t even know one person who has got a six pack from doing that alone. That’s because it doesn’t work! Yet millions of people around the world are still doing just that!
Anyway, you are now in the small percentage of people who won’t be doing that, who will be doing less work for it and who will be achieving a much desired six pack...all without ever training abs! Although I do recommend training abs for core strength and upper body support and all round body symmetry, but that’s another story for another ebook.
OK, so in order to get a six pack, you need 2 things! One of those 2 things you already have, we all already have...abdominal muscles. If you didn’t have these, you would be in some serious trouble. We all have them, yes, they are under there somewhere even if you have never seen them before. The second thing you need to get a six pack, which is the hard part, is to have low enough body fat to reveal those abdominal muscles that you have. It’s that simple and easy...if only!
So the main principle and focus of my FREE How to get a six pack fast without ever training abs ebook is to learn how to burn fat at the fastest rate possible in order to reveal our six packs. Unfortunately, when our body burns fat, we can not choose what area that fat comes from, hence why sit ups and crunches don’t work. For most people, the stomach area is the very last area that the body will seem to burn fat from, especially the lower abs. There simply is no way proven by science, as yet, to focus and target where our fat loss comes from. This means, whether you like it or not, you must drop to a low enough body fat percentage in order to have a six pack. Luckily for me, I know how to keep my body fat percentage low all year round and have done for much over a decade. I’ve never been without a six pack as far as I can remember and it’s a great feeling to have. Let me share some of my secrets with you here. I have provided 5 training strategies and 5 nutrition strategies. You can’t have one without the other – you MUST implement both. Good luck to you all, but it’s not luck you need, it’s persistence and perseverance...
Six Pack Training Tip #1
LIFT WEIGHTS Lifting weights is proven to burn more overall calories than any other form of exercise. This is because building muscle speeds up your metabolism and allows your body to burn fat faster. The more muscle you have, the faster your metabolism will be. You may burn less calories at the time than, say, an hour on the treadmill, but the secret is that actually over the next 24 hours you will burn more overall calories than you did from the calories in that hour from running, by lifting weights instead. Another important thing to note is that when you lift weights, you are retaining your muscle (protein) and burning the energy from carbohydrates and fat. Don’t make the mistake that 99% of people trying to lose fat and get a six pack make...which is: prolonged cardio! You will see all the overweight people on the bike machine, the treadmill, the cross trainer etc. And going away at it for sometimes hours and sweating excessively, but their body shape hardly ever changes – because they are simply burning their energy sources mainly from protein (muscle) and only a small amount of fat. There may be some that lose body weight this way, but they will not be in a good shape because they will have burned muscle away too! A perfect example is a marathon runner. So remember, lift weights to lose body fat, gain muscle and get a six pack!
